Uranus conjunct Mars in Taurus on the 26° of malefic fixed star Algol.
Let’s talk about Algol. Algol connected to the myth of Medusa. Medusa was beheaded by Perseus (Greek hero Hermes, the messenger) the planet: Mercury.
Medusa, if you are looking in her eyes you will turn into stone.
Whenever a planet touches the 26° of Taurus you can experience neck and/or eye issues and happenings where you think to loose your mind. Mars, the planet of action in Taurus acts as a bulldozer. Slowly but surely getting what he wants. Mars as ruler of the current transiting north node (dragons head/Rahu) in Aries. It’s all about 'me and getting what I want'. Mars is also the planet of war, bullets, starting the fire. And than we have Uranus. Sudden erratic happenings. As an outer planet it is ruling the collective. Whenever Uranus is at play a change is coming in. As an air sign it is ruling electricity, technology, the sky and brilliant insights. Uranus gives ‘Eureka’ moments (whatever association good/bad is about your perspective). The outer planets shaping the collective.
Uranus conjunct Mars in Taurus at 26°. We have seen what it brings, with Biden mixing up his ‘enemies’ as ‘friends’ and well, the assassination attempt of Trump cannot me more clear about a bullet (Mars) at an unexpected moment flying through the air (Uranus), in Taurus (neck, head, ears) by a malefic energy (Algol).
But what IS happening here?
It is a wake up call. Uranus conjunct Mars requires a new plan of action. It forces us to wake up, to see a new perspective and break through old patterns and establishments.
The world is shaking, people do not know what is real and fake and push it to saying it is all staged. What causes this ‘delulu’ phase in people nowadays? Why do people tend to loose their mind, their heads? What is real, what is fake?
In astrology land there is much said about the Uranus Mars conjunction. It is nothing new as 2 years ago the conjunction was there as well, as Mars takes 2 years to travel the full zodiac. Every 2 years you have a chance to start a new plan of action when it comes to your natal position again.
Currently in Taurus with it’s ruler Venus. It is about material security (work, work, work to get it), about beauty (influencers), about money, buying houses, cars etc. Let’s not forget that the transiting karmic nodes coming from Scorpio/Taurus. Leaving behind the digged up dirt and power struggles what was burried deep what needed to be seen to moving forward and change financial securities. Also a Pluto-Mars (Scorpio) proces vs Venus (Taurus). Now with the karmic nodes in Libra (Venus as the harmonic influencer) and Aries (as the fire starter and warrior), Venus and Mars are about I choose ‘me’ and I leave ‘we’ behind.
In other words, with the information what we gained between 2021-2023, the lessons we took from the power struggles we move forward on our own. ‘You betrayed’ me, I get myself safe and secure to build something for myself (Aries/Mars).
When planets are coming close to the end of a sign, final lessons are to be presented to learn and a crisis is involved as the energy needs to be wrapped up before moving ahead.
But what is the rest of the sky doing?
Pluto is retrograde, moving backwards to tip it’s toes for the final time in Capricorn. The crisis we all felt as it started in 2020 where Pluto was entering the final degrees of Capricorn. Neptune today also retrograde in Pisces at it’s final degrees.
Pluto in Capricorn is shaking up the established governmental structures. Corporates, governments, all what has been keeping us together, what we built for our status and what brought & bought us safety to build that career, house, family etc. Work, work, work. Structured, rigid, sustainable Saturn as it’s ruler. Old men, authority, government. As a father of the household bringing in the money.
Neptune in Pisces, the soft dreamy energy, the planet of illusions, it has no boundaries, it connects us with the things we cannot see, able with biased interpretations to form a perspective as a reality what might not be a reality. Neptune gives insights into the deep unknown and our biased conscious mind interprets this as reality. Not seeing the difference.
Pluto and Neptune are in sextile with one another. Capricorn (Saturn) and Pisces (Neptune). They go in a natural flow. With every sextile there is a chance in forming a Yod. The finger of God. A fated configuration where 3 different elements are at play. In this case a Pluto hanging between Aquarius/Capricorn (air and earth), a Neptune at the edge between Pisces (water) and Aries (fire) and retrograding back from 29° degrees (the prisma degree where the veil is lifted) inconjunct to fixed star Regulus. 29° of Leo (fire).
And here we are.
Regulus,
one of the most prominent fixed stars, Regulus, located at the heart of the constellation Leo, is associated with royalty, success, honor, and ambition. It brings a powerful, authoritative, and sometimes dramatic influence.
The apex point of a yod is leading, meaning, this point is the game changer.
We are almost entering Leo season. Venus is returning from the underworld. The Sun aligns around August 8 with the Lion’s gate portal.
This portal is marked by the alignment of the Earth, the star Sirius, and the Sun in Leo. Sirius is often referred to as our “Spiritual Sun,” and its rising is associated with new beginnings, heightened intuition, and spiritual awakening.
In line up, Mercury is on it’s way to 29° of Leo (July 25), Asteroid Medusa in his shadow (Aug 2), followed by Venus (Aug 5) and the Sun at Aug 23.
These planets are merging the upcoming weeks with the power of Regulus. A yod is a stalemate situation. Causing a lot of upheaval where we tend to loose our minds, not knowing what to choose from two evils. A decision is demanded. Do you follow your gut, your money or ego power?
The Yod with the apex on the fixed star Regulus, inconjunct Pluto and Neptune, indicates a powerful, ambitious destiny that requires the integration of deep transformation and spiritual awareness. Balancing the authoritative energy of Regulus with the transformative forces of Pluto and the idealistic influences of Neptune is key. Embracing change, cultivating spiritual insight, and maintaining a balance between power and compassion that will help navigate this complex and potentially rewarding configuration.
Use your common sense, stay grounded, don’t get delulu and carried away by the collective. This is a new beginning and asks us to learn how to dance in the rain, to distinguish the wheat from the chaff.
Feet on the ground (Capricorn/Taurus), head in sky above the clouds (Uranus/Neptune) and follow your gut and the Sun (Regulus/Leo): your heart 💜. It requires authenticity.
